Impact of Academic Stress on Resilience and Academic Engagement in the Process of Education and Professional Training for First Year University Students

Absract. Education in universities is reach on stressful situations especially for first-year university students who are confronted with a new learning environment. The article discusses the causes and consequences of academic stressors and presents results of an empirical study conducted among 117 first-year students studying in pedagogical field with a profile of music, dance and fine arts.
