Boyan Petrov and His Most Signifi cant Achievements

Abstract. This article presents a brief review and analysis of the most significant achievements of the Bulgarian climber, zoologist and speleologist Boyan Petrov. The article explores the subject of Boyan Petrov‘s activities and his influence on society. The subject of the study is the mountaineer. The activities of the Bulgarian mountaineer can be considered in the classes of the high school students. The objectives of this article are to illustrate how some of the most important qualities such as decision making, time management, social engagement, coping can be used with crisis situations, determination, and others can be used. The basic method is an analysis. It is also a good theme for bringing together the class around it and giving a good example of social behavior. Boyan Petrov and his life and achievements can be considered in discussion by class students.
