Abstract. This article shares the experience of working towards the development of emotional intelligence in children of preschool age. Familiarity with emotions, being aware of them, management and integration of the accumulated knowledge and experience in the search for solutions in specific life situations. The interrelationship between emotional intelligence and value system in the formation of social, emotional and personal competences in adolescents is studied.
