Abstract. In the article an attempt is made for a stylistic analysis of the poetic work of Dimcho Debelyanov “Do you remember, do you remember the quiet yard”. The analysis determines the stylistic contrasts, which are connected in mutual relations. The analysis is supplemented by a description of the verse structure of the elegy. An attempt has been made to connect the two levels in order to show more closely the semantic load of the poetry.
