Abstract. The current public debate on the possibilities and effectiveness of online learning, its perspective in the foreseeable future and the public opinion “forˮ and “againstˮ this educational model, are sufficient grounds for presenting such a topic. The publication reflects opinions, assessments and conclusions based on the results of studies and reports on online learning and my personal observations
and shared experience. Special emphasis is placed on the ethical aspect of online
learning, related to overcoming such a dangerous phenomenon as school violence.
