Тези знания са част от онази общата култура на съвременния човек, без която той не може да извлича или представя информация, получена по различни начини или с различни средства” (методически указания, дадени към учебното съдържание за VI клас). В настоящата статия е разгледан урок проведен на 28.03.2011 година в СОУ ”Св. Патриарх Евтимий”, град Пловдив, с шести „а” клас се провежда открит обобщителен урок на тема „Пропорции”.

Abstract. „Practical nature and knowledge significance of the topic of „Proportions” are unquestionable. This knowledge is part of one‘s contemporary general culture which is essential in the extraction and presentation of information obtained by different ways and manners.” (methological instructions to the 6th grade curriculum). This article presents a 6th grade open class on 28.03.2011 at „St. Patriarch Evtimii” High School in the city of Plovdiv generalizing the topic of „Proportions”.

REFLECTION ON THE ACTIVITY OF SOLVING PROBLEMS
Abstract. Several topics from the 9th grade curriculum are considered in the paper. An approach by refl ection is proposed and the assertion is that this approach is effective in a corresponding problem solving. The assertion is not supported by a case study.

ПЪТЕШЕСТВИЕ В СВЕТА НА КОМБИНАТОРИКАТА

Abstract.. В Индия на главния вход на едно училище стои надпис: „Стреми се, действай, постигай!”. Нашият малък, но амбициозен екип реши да погледне по друг начин на учебното съдържание по математика, като представи материал от раздел Комбинаторика” в края на 10 клас – интересен, забавен и дори вълнуващ. Статията съдържа първата част от компютърната презентация „Множества и съединения”, класирана на второ място в националния етап на Международни конкурс за учители „Математика и проектиране”. В нея след кратка историческа справка са разгледани понятията множества и съединения, подкрепени с подходящи интересни примери. Следват правилата за събиране и умножение на съединения, както и разнообразни задачи: за шахматни дъски, за приказни герои, електронни пощи, хакери, пароли, сейфове, цветя и др. Включените слайдове са само малка част от презентацията. Те се въвеждат постепенно, стъпка по стъпка, което осигурява необходимото учебно време за по-пълно осмисляне и разбиране на новите знания, както и за анализи и разсъждения при решаването на задачи. Цялата презентация се намира на сайта на ГПЧЕ „Екзарх Йосиф”, гр. Разград.

A JOURNEY IN THE WORD OF COMBINATORICS
Abstract. A sign on the front gate of a school in India reads: „Strive for it and do it.” Our small but ambitious team has decided to look at the Combinatorics section of the athematics textbook for 10th grade from another angle in order to present it in an interesting, amusing, and exciting way. The paper contains the first part of the PowerPoint presentation of „A Journey in the World of Combinatorics”, ranked second in the National stage of the International Competition for teachers „Mathematics and Projecting”. After a short historical review, the notions of a set and a combination are considered under the support of suitable and interesting examples. The rules for summation and multiplication of combinations follow as well as various tasks: for chess games of chess, fairy characters, e-mails, hackers, passwords, safes, fl owers, etc. The included slides constitute a small part of the presentation. They are introduced successively, step by step, which assures the necessary teaching time for a more profound and meaningful understanding of new knowledge, for analysis and reasoning in problem solving. The whole presentation is on the website of the „Ekzarh Jossiff” High School for Foreign Languages, Razgrad.

TANGENT CIRCLES, GENERATED BY AN INCIDENT POINT AND A LINE
Abstract. Some assertions are considered in connection with the generalization of a problem from the International Mathematical Olympiad in 2011. Special notice is taken of the proofs. Inversion and a suitable Miquel point are used to simplify the computing process.
