ON THE CONCEPTS STYLE AND REGISTER<\/strong><\/p>\n

Abstract.<\/strong> With the advent of sociolinguistics a number of problems considered to be purely stylistic until then, became an object of sociolinguistic research. Such is the case with the basic concepts style and register. They are not synonymous. Style is premeditated, deliberate organization of means of expression to designate the three levels: neutral, high and low. It is thinking about language. Register is a network of means of expressions which are immanent and typical of the social nature of the speech act participant: in the process of speaking s\/he does not search for them because they are part of his\/her natural speech code. Nevertheless, there is no Chinese wall between style and register.<\/p>\n

THE SPECIFIC PLURAL FORM OF MASCULINE NOUNS USED AFTER CARDINAL NUMBERS \u2013 NORMS, RULES, BREACHES<\/strong><\/p>\n

Abstract.<\/strong> The specifi c plural form of masculine nouns ending with a consonant which is to be used after cardinal numbers is one of the literary spelling norms of a grammatical character which is often violated and creates spelling and orthoepic problems. The article looks into the main uses of the specifi c plural form, some more specifi c cases, spelling and orthoepic peculiarities. A differentiation is made between the use of the specifi c plural form and the ordinary plural form in nouns for persons and non-persons. Typical breaches of the norm are analyzed.<\/p>\n

Abstract.<\/strong> The paper tries to explain a few important notions in contemporary linguistics, sociolinguistics and theory of mediatext. All researchers talk about colloquial style, colloquial speech, oral communication\/speech and register, but there is not a consensus on their substance. So it is necessary to look for differences and similarities between these notions. We separate colloquial speech markers from oral communication markers, which have equally functions in written media text \u2013 as colloquial speech markers in specially imitation of colloquial style.<\/p>\n

THE FAIRY-TALE EPOS \u201cLISKO\u2019S ADVENTURES\u2026\u201d FROM BORIS APRILOV: NARRATIVE STYLE AND ARTISTIC MEANING<\/strong><\/p>\n


Abstract.<\/strong> The current article looks at aspects of the famous fairy-tale series by B. Aprilov, related to remodelling of the genre and its change to an intellectually oriented humanistic concept. It follows the development of the initial intention of the author, showing how the stories about Lisko, without signifi cantly broadening their geographic context, are constantly broadening their artistic meaning. It shows how the artistic game is moving to the game space of mind and language, in order to overcome clich\u00e9s: narrative, storyline, phraseological, and in order to superstruct on the basis of the traditional fairy- tale, a manifestation of modern aesthetic thinking 0which provides room for irony, ambiguity, and paradox. The analysis aims at revealing how by staying within the boundaries of the predominant ideal of the time for the higher purpose of the human being, for serving society, B. Aprilov enriches and humanizes this ideal, releasing it from its normative imperative character, fi lling it with exciting existential meaning.<\/p>\n

THE CONCEPT OF ACHIEVEMENTS OF STUDENTS IN THE BULGARIAN LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE CLASS \u2013 FROM THE STATE EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS TO THE SPECIFIC STANDARDS FOR TEACHER ASSESSMENT IN THE TEACHING PROCESS<\/strong><\/p>\n


Abstract.<\/strong> In the recent years, education both worldwide and on a national level has orientated to the competence, constructive and pragmatic approach. On this theoretical base and in the search for the diffi cult transitions between the State Educational Requirements and the direct ongoing assessment by the teacher in the class room, the present article offers assessment criteria and indicators in three directions, namely: of an interpretative work; of an essay on a humanitarian issue on a studied literature work; of an essay on a worldly issue (free elective topic). The components, the principle of development and of use of the used methodical standards for ongoing assessment in Bulgarian Language and Literature at a secondary school level may be also transferred to other age groups, as well as to other study subjects. The coordination at various levels: methodical union, school, region, national level, could only contribute to the orientation and the progress of our students in personal, national and international aspects.<\/p>\n
